In the world, there are so many different cultures and people, which are making different music and have different kind of arts. Each culture is special for some kind of art or music, and there are various interesting things that can be mentioned about this topic for example the music of Southeastern Europe or Balkan music, African music, the American music as Jazz, the Tango and etc., some myths about art or traditional art of some different cultures.
The American music is a little bit different from the other music. Nowadays they are making as you know some different music from the music in history but, one of the music which is originated from America (with influence of African and European music) is Jazz music, such as the blues music which is created in 19th century. For making Jazz music, it is required to use saxophone, hihat and pedal, trumpet, acoustic guitar, bass drum and sometimes piano. You have probably heard about the most famous jazz musicians such as Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Scott Joplin, Dinah Washington, who are unrivaled. Also I have to mention The Tango which is originated of course from Latin America, and it is a famous dance all over the world nowadays. The African music and dance is containing a variety of instruments such as drums, xylophones, thumb piano. The well-known music known as American music like cha-cha, salsa, rumba, samba and so on, it is proved that it has origins from Africa and African music.
Every culture which existed and is still existing in the world has created its own art. For example, the African traditional art is well known for the masks they carve, which they are wearing on some of their rituals. The Chinese art is very diverse and the bronze vessels which were made very ornate with lines and flowing were so popular in there. The most famous art coming from Australia is curving on rocks and wood. Also the Australian art is famous for painting on barks and rocks which should be very colorful. And the Native American Indian art is also very interesting art because the most Native American designs are lost in the past but lately this art is certainly extended. In most cases, the Native American art is including geometric shapes and it is usually with the primary colors. It is beautiful to see and to know so many different arts and to know to distinguish them.
There are so many myths and legends about art in so many different cultures. For example Africans have the myth for the King’s Crown which has a face and birds on the crown and it is believed that that crown has the power for getting in touch with the spiritual world. The Chinese people has the dragon robe for an Empress of China which is believed that it has the power for bringing rain. For the Native Americans, there is the woman’s dress which has a sacred turtle on it, and it represents the recreation of the world according to the Lakota story. Different myths and legends from different cultures are being made in the history and they are still spoken.
The music and arts are beautiful symbols for representing certain culture, and almost every person is proud for his own culture thanks to the music and art in there. Music and art are a huge fortune for any culture to have, and the cultures differ with that fortune.
